Whether the therapy is reimbursed depends on the chosen form and on your insurance package. Usually a part is reimbursed from the supplementary insurance.

I don’t need a referral from the gp. For some health insurers, however, it is best to inquire about it.
Of course, it depends on how many sessions are needed, but on average about 10-12 sessions are needed. In the case of EMDR, there are often slightly less.
You never do that for sure, but it’s important that you feel comfortable with the first conversation and feel like it’s ‘clicking’. This is also one of the goals of the first call, to see if it clicks. Trusting your therapist is an important condition for the success of therapy.
